Michigan Reading Association: Summer Literature Workshop (In Person)

The Michigan Reading Association, in partnership with the Detroit Institute of Arts and Sleeping Bear Press, welcomes you to a one-day Summer Literature Workshop. Participants will learn from our Author’s Panel, consider ways to integrate illustrated texts into daily instruction, explore graphic novels as an accessible text for all readers, and examine strategies for building robust classroom libraries. Participants will receive materials to reignite the joy of reading in their students.
